BatGuys Wildlife Update — February 10, 2006
Since the first of the year we have been busy responding to calls of squirrels, skunks and even a few bats. Gray squirrels seem to be in abundance this year throughout our service area, while we haven't got many calls for flying squirrels. Because of the warm winter we've had, the large brown bats in our area have remained somewhat active. This has resulted in more bats in houses than we usually see during the winter months. I'm looking forward to getting my first raccoon call in the spring. I've had enough cold weather.
