Bats in the house - May 31, 2005
Bat season is now upon us! Both big brown bats have awoken from hibernation and little brown bats have returned from their winter homes. In the last two weeks we have been responding to calls about bats in the house during the middle of the night. Homeowners call us when they discover a bat flying around the living space of their home at 2am in the morning. Bats in the house are very common this time of year. It is rare that we are getting so many calls for this type of service so early in the year. In previous years we usually receive 80% of our bats in the house calls during the month of August.
