Bats
Fall River has very few bats. If there was one town in our entire service area that doesn't seem to have a healthy bat population it is definitely Fall River. However once you head South into Tiverton RI both native species of bats are found in great numbers. We see more little brown bats (Myotis lucifugus) in Tiverton than any other town in RI. These migratory bats seem to prefer the agricultural lands in Southern Tiverton. The older-style farm houses in this area are very prone to large infestations of these bats during the summer months. Fall River Gray Squirrels
Gray squirrels are found in great numbers throughout Fall River. These squirrels seem to love the 3 story homes in this area that are very difficult to access for us. Murphy's law says that if we get 3 squirrel calls from Fall River they will all be 3-story houses that are all sandwiched together and the squirrel's hole will be directly over the power-line and on a steep hill, happens every time.
